Objective :
For the MPU 3412 , Community Service and Co- Curriculum project and to serve the community in ways which we can help and share our love to the community. To serve the community, the best way for us, students could be helping those kids in the orphanage. They are also students, kids who need love and care from others. Helping those who are in the orphange would be one of the most humanity thing to do as students.
Agenda: 10:30 - 13:30
- 10:30: reach the Orphanage
- Brief introductions of the kids.
- Donate money for orphanage
- Donate food for lunch
- Explore the orphange .
- Spend time with kids.
- Play card games
- Take videos and pictures with the kids
- 13:30 : Leave orphange.
Experience from the visit to the Orphanage
This visit tot the orphanage made me realize that the small things in life brings so much happiness to life. Our visit to the orphanage doesn't give much to the kids , but for what we offered they seem to be overwhelming. and that feels amazing to see how those simple things brought a smile to their face.
One more thing i learnt from the visit is that everybody needs love and care, but it doesn't need to be something big to offer, a small talk or spending some time , playing with them could also make them feel special and loved. I hope our visit to the Rumah kids made even a little difference in their life and they could remember us always.
